Investments do not stop in the planted forests and wood-derived products sector. According to a report in the Valor Econ\u00f4mico newspaper, the pulp and paper segment has a forecast of over R$ 63 billion in investments. Suzano, Klabin, CMPC and Arauco have the biggest projects. The biggest one is Suzano’s Cerrado, which is expected to bring in R$ 19.3 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another thermometer that indicates the heating of the industry is in the generation of jobs. LD Celulose, a partnership between the Brazilian company Dexco and the Austrian company Lenzing, generates more than a thousand direct jobs in the Triangulo Mineiro region. In full expansion, its objective is to build one of the largest dissolving cellulose industries in the world. In the second half of September, LD Celulose announced new vacancies in several areas, ranging from administrative functions to operations in the factory and in the forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also in September, Veracel, located in the south of Bahia, opened enrollments for the Young Apprentice Program. Vacancies were offered to young people between the ages of 18 and 21, with the aim of developing the region’s workforce and identifying talent for future opportunities in the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
